There seems to be a more and more serious corruption problem in state and local politics that could use people loyal to the country as a whole. My idea is to use Veterans as auditors on the use of Federal funds for local and state projects. This would give qualified Veterans access to city and state project funding, process, and accounting to prevent the kind of corruption that goes on at the local levels. It could be a paid position or it could be voluntary with some specific benefits. Most of all it would put people who are loyal to their country in charge of making sure that those who are selfish and greedy don't get away with their tricks. It would be easy to set up and the job itself wouldn't require much specialized training. Most importantly it could put most any Veteran back to work for their country.
