Monolithic Mindless Wasteland

VA Director's haven't even the curtisy to reply to Vets letters or emails. Been fighting to recieve Fentanyl 90 day medicine script rather than go to Med Center EVERY 30 days! FDA says its OK, my VA Dr's want to impliment this 90 day program, but VA "POLICY" says waste taxpayers dollars and Dr's time with monthly visits! Had same pain meds for almost 9 years, add that cost in monthly visits! With all sincerity the VA ...more »

Create VA'S open Government Plan

As the objects of paper shredding scandals we expect an openness about investigations from the VA OIG related to these constant issues at hand, we need a open Government response as related to all investigative reports. This will cause a thought process when VA employees criminal act can expose his or her name publicly to go along with presecution of the crimes of tampering with federal documents!

Equal Treatment for ALL Veterans

As National Chairman of the American Cold War Veterans I have some issues with VA. Millions of men and women served during the Cold War, and outside of the Korea and Vietnam War periods. Many or most of these veterans are not eligible for VA Health Care. We did the same jobs that today's military are doing, yet so many get denied. This is totally unfair and unequal treatment. President Obama, Vice President Biden and ...more »

When a Veteran passes away, Debt Mgt snatches the month of death check from their account. An already stressful situation is compounded greatly when now the widow cannot pay the electric or heating bill because she was using those funds to pay bills. Further, death benefit applications ...more »

Building a New VA Medical Center in Texas

The Texas Congressional Representatives are pressuring the VA to build a new hospital in this state. I think the veteran patients would be better served if there were more clinics in rural communities. The rural communities would benefit from having their medical facilities utilized by the vets. These clinics would refer a veteran to the closest VA Hospital for more specialized care and treatments. I retired from the ...more »

Dialogue

Dialogue requires one respond to the Other. Government has not been very responsive to the people, our needs or voices. Also, the double speak must go. We are told that the V.A. is being brought into the 21st century, yet 1. care is not holistic 2. the time allotted patients for appointments is being restricted. Even psych appointments to 30 min. Try evaluating a patient, and work out a change in psych meds including ...more »
